1. Product Introduction
Overhead power lines refer to power transmission wires that are suspended in the air through supporting structures such as electric poles and iron towers. They are primarily used for medium to long-distance transmission of electrical energy and regional distribution, and are one of the most fundamental and widely used forms of power transmission in the global power system. It is mainly divided into two categories: bare overhead lines (without insulation layer) and insulated overhead lines, which have the advantages of low laying cost, high construction efficiency, convenient maintenance, and good heat dissipation. The rated voltage covers 0.4kV~1000kV, suitable for all scenarios from civil power distribution to cross regional ultra-high voltage transmission. Materials are generally divided into steel core aluminum stranded wire, pure aluminum stranded wire, copper stranded wire, aluminum alloy stranded wire, etc.
Aerial Bundled Cable (ABC) is an overhead distribution cable comprising multiple insulated conductors bundled together. It is designed for low-voltage (≤1kV) and medium-voltage (6-35kV) overhead transmission, offering advantages such as enhanced safety, reliability, ease of installation, and a compact footprint. These benefits make it a mainstream solution for urban and rural grid upgrades. The core feature of "insulated bundling" revolutionizes the traditional practice of using bare overhead wires.
